Hi, my name is Tom Conklin, a second-generation San Diegan residing in beautiful Coronado, California. As National Sales Manager at LoanWyse, it is my mission to guide my broker partners and my team down the pathway to success!

With over four decades of sales experience in Mortgage Banking, my knowledge of the industry is expansive. As a former National Sales Manager overseeing TPO, Delagated/Non-Delagated Correspondent production, I am well equipped to provide the highest level of service to keep pipelines flowing smoothly.

Before moving into middle and senior management roles, I was a retail loan officer and wholesale account executive for over 20 years. Those opportunities gave me hands-on point-of-sale experience that makes it especially easy to understand all aspects of the lending process. I love networking with like-minded professionals at national conferences including MBA, NAMB, ACUMA, and NAHREP. I have also made it a point to visit state conferences all over the nation. I served two terms as CAMP (California Association of Mortgage Professionals) San Diego Chapter President and am still very active on a state level.

I am passionate about all things sales! There is no greater reward than guiding account executives and sales managers toward mortgage industry sales leaders. I am a boots-on-the-ground kind of guy, going into the field with my sales team, leading by example by demonstrating my hands-on sales approach. In sales, I operate on a set of core principles - Know your customers, meet with your customers, uncover your customers’ needs, sell to your customers needs, and create relationships to build successful partnerships.

In my free time, I love spending time with my wife of 23 years, Tammy, my amazing nephew, and two nieces. I also enjoy surfing, water skiing, deep-sea fishing, golfing, snow skiing, and volunteering for beach cleanup efforts for a cleaner ocean.
